OFFICIAL RESOLUTIONS & STATEMENTS OPPOSING
A NEW HIGHWAY

Communities across central Ohio are standing together to oppose the proposed US 23 - I-71 connector and to support practical, community-focused improvements to the existing US 23 corridor. On this page, we have gathered the formal resolutions passed by local governments, school districts, fire departments, and other public entities, as well as statements issued by elected officials and community leaders. Each resolution reflects a shared commitment to protecting our homes, farmland, schools, and local businesses while advocating for solutions that enhance safety and mobility without building a new highway. This growing list demonstrates the strong, united regional opposition to the connector project—and the widespread support for investing in the corridor we already have.

If you know of a resolution or public statement we haven’t included yet, please send it our way so we can keep this list complete and up to date.
